Last Wednesday saw the running of the much anticipated Cork City Sports at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

The Bantry Boys put in a star studded performance and the old saying “Molann an obair an fear” once again rang true. The 13 boys have worked diligently for the last 4 weeks and all their hard work bore fruit on Wednesday. The squad of 13 brought home a staggering total of 18 trophies including the Overall Trophy for the best performance of all Boys Schools in the county.

Congratulations to the teachers at St Finbarr’s, Mr B Gleeson, Mr P O’Meara and Ms G Lehane, who prepared the boys and also deserve credit for this success!
