Science Open Day

On 24 April 2008 we help a Science Open Day in our school to help us achieve the Award of Science Excellence. We have been carrying out a number of exciting and interesting Science experiments throughout the school over the past year and we decided to hold this Science Open Day to show the public how much we love Science. Each class displayed experiments they had carried out and explained how they worked and what they showed.

The experiments on display include:

How our lungs work?
Volcanoes
Magnetic Magic
Designing a bridge
Testing for Starch
Dancing raisins
Which paper absorbs best?
Making circuits
Absorption of sugar in water
