Recently we studied Ireland in the 1900’s. We learned about how people lived, what work they carried out and their daily routine. Some of the professions we looked at are Blacksmiths, the Cobblers, Hooping a Cartwheel, Threshing, Sowing Seeds and Thatching. We even made our own scones to taste what people ate ‘long ago’. Here are some pictures of our project.
