McCormick's Variety Show

We were lucky to have the wonderful McCormick’s Variety Show visit our school on Tuesday 22 April. A very lively and fast-paced performance took place for the boys of St. Finbarr’s. They were introduced to many different instruments such as the slide trombone, the trumpet, drums, accordion and the didjeridu, along with being given a chance to play them. Comedy, competitions and contortionist acts took place in between the musical entertainment. The talented group also amazed us with their rope spinning and juggling. It was fantastic for the boys to see a live performance and appreciate what a skilled group the McCormick’s are. One look around the gym at the reactions on their faces made it clear that this particular variety show would be very welcome to return to St. Finbarr’s in the future.
